Nancy Phillips Autumnfest Scholarship

The Autumnfest Steering Committee is dedicated to making our community a place where each person, each event, makes someone proud to live here.  Through volunteers, the Autumnfest Committee holds many community events with the largest one being on Columbus Day Weekend (October 7-9, 2023).  These community events are run by volunteers. People who want to make a difference by giving back to their community.

This year, the Autumnfest Steering Committee is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who displays the love and passion for the community by the volunteer work they are involved in within the community.  This scholarship is named after longstanding Autumnfest Committee member, Nancy Phillips, who was extremely dedicated to the community and served on the Autumnfest Committee for more than 30 years. One graduating senior from Woonsocket High School or Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center or Mount Saint Charles Academy or Beacon Charter High School for the Arts is eligible for this scholarship. We ask that you tell us, in 500 words or less, how you embody similar qualities and include specific details on how you have volunteered to make a difference in your community and in the lives of those around you.  Be sure to include any community involvement and/or civic activities.

Applications for the 2023 Nancy Phillips Autumnfest Scholarship are now open.

Please download the application from the Autumnfest website (www.autumnfest.org) and email your completed application and essay to Secretary Adam Brunetti (secretary@autumnfest.org) by May 1st at 2:00PM.
