Nancy Phillips Autumnfest Scholarship
The Autumnfest Steering Committee is dedicated to making our community a place where each person, each event, makes someone proud to live here. Through volunteers, the Autumnfest Committee holds many community events with the largest one being on Columbus Day Weekend. These community events are run by volunteers. People who want to make a difference by giving back to their community.
This year, the committee is proud to offer our fifth scholarship to a graduating senior who displays the love and passion for the community by the volunteer work they are involved in within the community. This scholarship is named after longstanding member Nancy Phillips who is extremely dedicated to the community and served on this committee for many decades. With this in mind, we would ask that you tell us in 500 words or less, how you embody similar qualities and include specific details on how you have volunteered to make a difference in your community and in the lives of those around you. Be sure to include any community involvement and/or civic activities.
